I had the Bulldog burger. It's a double handmade patty with double bacon, cheese and jalapenos. It was absolutely delicious! The jalapeno was grilled and very flavorful. My friend had the sausage and chicken gumbo with potato salad. I tell you, that gumbo was GOOD!! The potato salad was spot on with flavor. And together, if you like your tater salad with your gumbo, it was one of the best.
While traveling we found this place on google. What a great place. Cute country atmosphere and the food was delicious. Freshly made wrap, grilled ham & cheese and grilled pickles that were crisp and tart. The server was so friendly and gave good recommendations. The owner came out to meet us and make sure we liked everything. As an added bonus many of the customers spoke and welcomed us to this sweet town. Try it. It’s top of the line country cooking and a great atmosphere.
The restaurant is very nice. Wood floors, and very nice decor. Very clean! The service was very good, and the food was top notch. We had the cheese burger basket with fries, a chopped beef baked potato, and onion rings as an appetizer. All the food was hot and correct when it came out. The burger was excellent and the potato was huge. Had banana pudding for dessert! I would recommend Bulldog Country Cafe to anyone. You cant go wrong with cooking like this.
We stopped by on a whim and I’m so glad we did!! The food and service were the best we have ever encountered! We got burgers and grilled fish, everything was so flavorful! We will definitely be back!
Came here as a recommendation from our parents and I have to say... Wow, definitely the best burger in the area. The fries were really good as well and make sure you get their onion rings if that’s your thing. My wife tried the chicken fried steak burger and absolutely loved it. Everything we had was great! Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Food is always great! Large menu of items. Service is friendly and the place just has that small town charm and atmosphere. We ride from Houston to have lunch there!
Delicious food. Had the grilled catfish on a bed of rice with peppers and onions. So delicious with the yum yum sauce on the side. Great presentation, good service,reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
